If Ostriches were to bury their head in the sand, it would mean they wouldn’t be able to breathe. Burying their head in the sand would eventually kill them.

However, Ostriches nest their eggs in holes they have dug. During the day the bird puts its head in the hole to turn the eggs.

A female mosquito requires blood to produce eggs. The male mosquito feed on flower nectar. A female mosquito has a mouth that sucks blood by piercing a skin.

It’s an amazing fact that Hummingbirds cannot walk. The birds have great abilities. It can fly upside down, backward, and hover. The ability to hover gives Hummingbirds the ability to sip nectar.

The bird has weak legs and cannot walk. It can only shuffle.

When an owl wants to look at other directions, it twists their necks. It can turn its head up to 270 degrees. Owl’s eyes are long and shaped like a tube. The bird also doesn’t have any eyeballs. Due to this shape, the Owl’s eyes do not move.
